WHAT IS A FREESTYLE SESSION?
Freestyle sessions are meant for serious figure skating practice. They are not recreational sessions. Skaters use freestyle to take private lessons or practice their skills to prepare for tests or competitions. Skaters are allowed to play their program music on freestyle sessions.

These sessions are more expensive than public sessions. Punch cards can be purchased at the front desk. Skaters should sign in and pay at the front desk when skating a freestyle session. If the skater is taking a lesson, they also pay their coach directly.

Any skater taking a lesson from one of our coaches may be on a freestyle session. Hockey skaters are allowed on freestyle ONLY when they are in a lesson. Skaters who are at least at the Free Skate levels in the Learn to Skate program may skate on freestyle. Skaters in the Basic Skills levels may skate while they are in their lesson, or if their coach has cleared them to practice on their own.
